Mailing Groups – what are they?

Mailing Groups allow you to create sub lists or email segments from your master client email list/records in Subscriber Management

A Mailing Group is a container that will hold copies of a group of email records that you select from Subscriber Management.

Deleting mailing groups – If you delete a mailing group it will NOT delete the client’s master email record from Subscriber Management. It will only delete the email copies within the mailing group you are deleting.

IMPORTANT – the email records in a Mailing Group are only copies of a group of email records selected from  Subscriber Management.

Once the upload process is completed always go and check the mailing group. To do this, go to:

  1. Mailing Groups in left hand Maintenance Options menu
  2. Select and click on the mailing group you just created
  3. Check the number of email records in the left hand “Current Members” column – these are the email records that belong to the mailing group. The other column is “Non Members” are all other emails in Subscriber Management that have not been assigned to this mailing group.
